- The 44mm tubular is great combination of everything people look for in a race wheelset; fast, light, aero, strong, and durable. No matter what type of riding you are doing, the 44mm depth with improved aerodynamic profile will be a great option for you. It's a great wheel set for climbing, descending, windy conditions, races, and even training. With the mid-depth aero rim height and improved design to handle the crosswinds these can be used even in very windy areas. The low weight of the wheels make for a great climbing wheel set, but the high strength of the rim means they can even be used in the heavy demands of a cyclocross race. With the wider rim profile there is an increased gluing surface for the tire. Tires glue up easier than ever, sit more securly in the rim, and the air flow over the tire onto the rim is greatly improved for a much more aero wheelset.
To go along with the new carbon rims we have developed the new Onyx brake pads which offer excellent brake modulations, wet and dry stopping power, and the best heat dissipation out of any brake pads. Brake pads are included with the wheel set at no additional charge.
